Deputy Tahsildar held for misbehaving with woman
Deputy Tahsildar Mastan was arrested for misbehaving with a widow on Thursday night. The woman, aged 29 years, approached the official a fortnight ago asking for birth certificate of her son whom her sister wanted to adopt. The widow has two children and was visiting the official’s office frequently for the official work.

The widow has two children and was visiting the official’s office frequently for the official work.
However, the official was exploiting her. He called her to come to Raghavaiah park to meet him on Thursday. The woman was too innocent to meet an official outside his office. When she went there, he was not there.
When she was puzzled on what should be done next, he told her over phone to come to Kanakadurga Varadhi. Without knowing his murky plan, she landed there after some time.
To her surprise, he was not available there. When she was thinking what to do next, he invited her to a flat. Without knowing the consequences, she gathered courage to reach there.
When she entered the flat, the Deputy Tahsildar started misbehaving her by holding her hand. The shocked widow came out and approached Commissioner of Police and narrated her bitter experience. Acting on the guidelines of CP, the police arrested him.
