District Collector Veera Pandian has called upon the officials concerned to take the grievances seriously and find quality solutions to the people\'s problems. He said that time bound solutions should be found to the people\'s satisfaction.

Addressing the participants at the ‘Mee Kosam’ grievances redressal platform here on Monday, the Collector said that heart and soul should be applied to attend to every petition of the people. As many as 389 petitions have been received.
Government whip Yamini Bala and MLC Samanthaka mani submitted a memorandum demanding water release to Singanamala constituency for irrigation and drinking water purpose.
The Collector promised to hold a meeting tomorrow with irrigation officials and release their share of water.
