Superintendent of Police advises students to work hard
Superintendent of Police Gopinath Jetty distributed uniforms to students of Kasturba Gandhi Residential School in Kolimigundla near here on Thursday.
Kurnool: Superintendent of Police Gopinath Jetty distributed uniforms to students of Kasturba Gandhi Residential School in Kolimigundla near here on Thursday.
Speaking on the occasion, he advised the advised the students to pursue education with a determination in mind to achieve the highest goals in life. He enquired about the amenities being provided to them and directed the local police to ensure proper lighting in the school and construction of playground.The students showcased the handicrafts done by them to the officer.
Earlier, Gopinath Jetty laid foundation stone and unveiled the plaque to construct compound wall for the modernised Kolimigundla police station. The SP received a guard of honour by the police.
Gopinath Jetty asked the police to organise awareness campaigns on road safety and directed them to take steps to weed out gambling dens and illicit liquor shops. Later, he inspected Sanjamala police station and went through the records.
