Campus special officer Dr N Nirmala Mani was the chief guest and said that the students are helping the environment by planting saplings and improving the lung spaces. She asked the volunteers team to help the development of rural areas by understanding the socioeconomic situation there.

NSS programme officer Dr Mande Harsha Preetham Dev Kumar said that plantation drives will help the environment by reducing carbon dioxide and increasing oxygen. He appreciated the volunteers for creating a pleasant atmosphere on the campus. He asked them to plant more trees in their native villages and participate in Swachh Bharat by keeping the neighborhood clean.
