Jagan lambasts Naidu for sacrificing state’s interests

Kurnool: YSRCP president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy alleged that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu had sacrificed the state’s interests regarding Special Category Status (SCS) to save himself from pending cases.

He also alleged that the TDP government was encouraging corporate education. Jaganmohan Reddy’s Praja Sankalpa Yatra continued in Alur constituency on Thursday. He began his march at Karamanchi village in Aspari mandal and later in the evening, addressed a public meeting at Billekal village.

During his yatra, a farmer, Golla Ramanna of Karamanchi requested Jagan to unveil the statue of YS Rajasekhar Reddy in his farmland. Overwhelmed with the request, Jagan asked the farmer’s daughter to unveil the statue on behalf of him.

Later, Ranganna, speaking to media, said that several people had benefited from the schemes introduced by YS Raja Sekhar Reddy. Another villager said that YSR never reneged form the promises he had made.

All sections of people, especially farmers, were happy during his rule, he said added that he waived agriculture loans without any restrictions.The Urban Health Centre workers met YSRC chief and submitted representations listing out the hardships being faced by 1,500 workers for the last 17 years.

Model school teachers also poured out their woes before Jagan and said they were not paid salaries for the last six months. School students in huge numbers complained about the poor facilities in their schools.

Jagan assured them to be patient for one more year as golden era would be restored with his ascent to power. Addressing the meeting at Billekal village, Jagan said that he had set off on 3,000 km Praja Sankalpa Yatra with the intention to know the problems of people.

“In a span of 300 km Yatra, several problems have come to my notice and I will strive to resolve them when YSRCP comes to power,” he said and asked the people to stand by him in the ensuing elections. Even Naidu has also confirmed to his party men to prepare for the general elections, he said.
