The judges discussed about the facilities available at the building.They wentround various rooms in the complex and examined whether the rooms are adequate or not.

Later,they held in-camera meeting with the District Collector Kona Sasidhar,Guntur Urban SPChVijaya Rao and ANU Vice-Chancellor ProfARajendra Prasad. At least two lakh sq. ft of area is needed to set up High Court. Further, lot of parking place is also needed to park the vehicles. In addition, quarters for Registrar, Assistant Registrar and employeeshave to be accommodated.
Earlier, District Collector Kona Sasidhar, Guntur Urban SPChVijaya Rao, and ANU Vice-Chancellor ProfARajendra Prasad welcomed the High Court judges and presented them flower bouquets.
It may be mentioned that Chief Minister NChandrababu Naidu had asked the Centre to set up separate High Court for AP and offered premises for setting up the High Court.
The police officials explained security aspects. ANU is nearer to DGP office, Secretariat, Guntur Range IGP, Guntur UrbanSP office, they said.
Meanwhile, a 35-memebrs advocate’ delegation of Rayalaseema High Court Sadhana Samiti came from Kadapa and requested to set up High Court in Rayalaseema districts because it is a backward region.
Theysubmitteda memorandum to the judges. They stressed on the need to decentralise the administration. The samiti convenerSMastanvalihas said that if the High Court is set up in Amaravati,Rayalaseema districts will get injustice and requested the judges to examine buildings in the government offices premises to set up High Court in Rayalaseema.
