To mark the 87th death anniversary of Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev, the Patriotic and Democratic Movement (PDM) organised a state-level conference at Makineni Basavapunnaiah Vignana Kendram here on Friday.
Vijayawada: To mark the 87th death anniversary of Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev, the Patriotic and Democratic Movement (PDM) organised a state-level conference at Makineni Basavapunnaiah Vignana Kendram here on Friday.
The programme was organised in two sessions on the current political strategy and the people’s part, PMD State Committee member Anjaiah presided over the programme.
Addressing a gathering, VIRASAM state secretary Paani said the policies of the ruling party were pushing the people into poverty, creating a crisis and forcing farmers to commit suicide. He said that due to stressful corporate education, students were committing suicides.
PDM state secretary Y Venkateswara Rao said Bhagat Singh, Raj Guru and Sukhdev had fought against the British without caring for their lives. They revolted against the British, who were robbing the wealth of the country, and they had fought to drive them away from the country.
