Nellore: Municipal Administration Minister P Narayana slammed the Union Government for ignoring to develop the truncated state. Minister Narayana along with TDP cadres participated in cycle yatra at Janardhanreddy Colony in 54th division in the city on Saturday. Speaking to media persons, Narayana said that state government had been demanding the provisions of AP Reorganisation Act and accord SCS to the state.
However, the Central government had failed to respect the sentiments of AP people, said the minister and added they would organise cycle yatras across the district to create awareness among public about attitude of the Central government that betrayed the state in all aspects. He also alleged the BJP and YSRCP have been trying to defame Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, who has been striving hard for development of the state. TDP will intensify its stir if the Centre fail to accord SCS to the state, said the minister.
Similarly, the cycle rallies were organised at Jaladanki mandal and Sarvepalli. TDP leaders in the city welcomed the members of Chennai Telugu Association who took out a car rally from Chennai to Amaravati with 50 cars to support Naidu’s agitation. Former MLA M Sridhar Krishna Reddy, TDP district spokesperson Dr Z Siva Prasad and others were present.
