Joint Collector Md Imtiaz Ahmed sought cooperation of the cinema theater owners to make Guntur posterfree city
Guntur: Joint Collector Md Imtiaz Ahmed sought cooperation of the cinema theater owners to make Guntur poster-free city.
He conducted a meeting with the owners of the cinema theaters at Collectorate on Thursday.
Speaking on this occasion, he said that GMC was painting walls and road dividers at important centres for beautification of the city.
He said cinema theater owners were pasting posters on the walls defacing paintings. He also instructed the theater owners to collect parking fee as per norms. He would not tolerate, if they violate the norms.
GMC Commissioner Srikesh B Lathkar, requested the theater owners to remove cinema posters pasted on the walls and added that he would identify the places to keep the flexis soon.
He urged the owners of the cinema theaters not to paste posters on the walls at public places and warned that he would form teams to take action, if they continue to paste posters on the walls.
Officials of weights and measures and other departments were present. urges cinemas.
