Roots Health Services Awards presented

Vijayawada: Celebrity and actor V Jagapathi Babu was the chief guest at the award presentation programme organised by Roots Health Foundation (RHF) here on Sunday.

The Roots Health Services Awards 2018 was presented to doctors from various branches for their noble service. Addressing the gathering, Jagapathi Babu said that life-saving doctors were the real celebrities.

After seeing the services rendered by the doctors, he said that there was a god in every doctor.

He said that in today’s materialistic selfish world, where everyone thinks of himself, this health foundation and doctors’ service was commendable.

He recalled that when he visited fourth stage cancer patients at RHF premises in the morning, the foundation was giving service to the patients without expecting anything.

He appreciated the selfless services of RHF. He said that all the members of the foundation have the empathy and sympathy to serve the patients suffering from cancer, and said he could read it from both the patients and the members of the foundation.

He said that everyone was afraid of death which was inevitable and let us all welcome it with good health.

The celebrity was felicitated by the foundation on the occasion. Later, he gave awards to the doctors for their selfless service. He appreciated the youth for taking initiative for the cause.

Chairman Dr PVS Vijaya Bhaskar, Anne Sivanageswara Rao, Dr Ramana Murthy, Ramakrishna, Madhavi and others were present.
