Vijayawada: Commissioner of Police (in-charge) Kanti Rana Tata distributed Digital Safety Information Packs to about seventy educational institutions in and around Vijayawada city on Tuesday, as part of the gender sensitisation and violence against women awareness organised by Vasavya Mahila Mandali (VMM), a non-governmental organisation.
Former MP and VMM president Chennupati Vidya said that police and all the citizens should feel the responsibility towards children and society.
Assistant Commissioner of Police, North Zone, Shravani, VMM members Mahila Mithra coordinators, teachers and others were present.
