Ongole: The Prakasam District Development Forum and other public organisations extended their support to the Dharma Porata Deeksha, announced by the Students JAC in Ongole on July 27, which is scheduled just one day before the Dharma Porata Deeksha by the chief minister in Ongole.
The Students JAC announced the Dharma Porata Deeksha against the state government as the chief minister is planning his deeksha against the union government for not fulfilling the promises.
Chunduri Rangarao, president of the Prakasam district development forum said that the students JAC is sitting in protest against the state for not fulfilling the promises for the district including the completion of Veligonda project, establishment of university, construction of Ramayapatnam port, not releasing water to Prakasam district through the Nagarjuna Sagar right canal and alleged discrimination towards the Prakasam district in establishing institutions or organisations that help the development of the district.
He said that the Prakasam district development forum and the other public organizations are supporting the Dharma Porata Deeksha by the students and demand answers from the chief minister in his deeksha on the very next day in Ongole.
The other speakers Chunchu Seshaiah, Annam Kondala Rao, Kanaka Rao Rafi Ahmed, Dr Nukathoti Ravi Kumar also extended their support to the Studnets JAC and its deeksha.
