Visakhapatnam: As a part of community policing under Cheyutha -3 programme, nearly 27 tribal youth of Chinthapalli sub-division received 20 two-wheeler servicing tool kits worth Rs 15,000.

They were trained as bike mechanics at Nagavalli Institute with the financial support of GMR in Srikakulam. District Superintendent of Police Rahul Dev Sharma called upon the tribal youth to come forward for training in their interested fields to develop their skills so that they can eke out their livelihood.

He also congratulated the 27 tribal youth who completed the bike mechanic training programme successfully and he suggested to them to go back to their villages and serve the villagers and if they want to establish mechanic shops, the police department would support them for loan facility, he added.
