MP Rayapati Sambasiva Rao urges Centre to set up sub-station at Pulichintala
Narasaraopet MP Rayapati Sambasiva Rao requested Union Minister for Power RK Singh to set up another 660 KW substation at Pulichintala Project site in Guntur district
Guntur: Narasaraopet MP Rayapati Sambasiva Rao requested Union Minister for Power RK Singh to set up another 660 KW sub-station at Pulichintala Project site in Guntur district.
He met the minister in Delhi on Thursday and explained need to set up another power grid at Pulichintala Project site in the district to meet increasing needs of the people in the state capital Amaravati.
He gave a letter to Singh to this effect. He informed the minister that at present 440 KW sub-station at Macherla and 660 KW sub-station at Narasaraopet were under construction.
There was need to set up 660 KW sub-station at Pulichintala Project in the district and assured that he would speak to the state government and see that land would be allotted to set up another power sub-station to meet capital power needs of the people.
The Union minister assured that he would examine the proposal.
