Railway medal winners meet DRM in Vijayawada

Vijayawada: The medal winners, representing the South Central Railways (SCR), Vijayawada Division, who took part in the All India Railway Athletic Championship held at Lucknow from August 17 to 19 and returned to Vijayawada on Thursday met R Dhananjayulu, Divisional Railway Manager and President of SCR Sports Association.
Divisional Railway Manager congratulated Sowmya, Silver Medalist in 100 hurdles and Heptothilin, Kartika, Silver Medalist in Long Jump and Triple Jump, Manikandaraj, Silver Medalist in 4X100 relay and Preethi, Bronze Medalist in Steeplechase at All India Railway Athletic Championship held at Lucknow.
They also called upon MVS Rama Raju, Additional Divisional Railway Manager, K Suryanarayana, Senior Divisional Engineer (Coordination) and Bhaskar Reddy Pinreddy, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager and received with warm greetings.
Now, they are in the Indian Railway Athletic team coaching camp for the preparation of Open National Athletic Championship to be held at Bhubaneswar next month.
