Guntur: MLC A S Rama Krishna has said our country informed significance of teacher to the world.
He addressed a meeting held at Kommineni Gardens under the aegis of Bhashyam Medimix in Guntur on Wednesday, on the occasion of Teachers Day.
Speaking on this occasion, he reminded that former President of India Dr Sarvepalli Radha Krishnan brought name and fame to the teaching profession.
He urged the teachers to draw inspiration from him. Nalanda Pharmacy College chairman Arimanda Vara Prasad Reddy garlanded the portrait of Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan and urged the teachers to draw inspiration from him.
At Loyola Public School at Nallapadu Rev Fr Bosco reminded services rendered by Dr Sarvepalli Radhaka Krishnan.
Teachers Day was celebrated at Central School at AT Agraharam in Guntur city.
