MP Maganti Venkateswara Rao Babu has expressed confidence that they would achieve Visakhapatnam Railway Zone It is a genuine demand and should be achieved by the people of this region, he said
Eluru: MP Maganti Venkateswara Rao (Babu) has expressed confidence that they would achieve Visakhapatnam Railway Zone. “It is a genuine demand and should be achieved by the people of this region,” he said.
He inaugurated lifts in Eluru railway station set up at a cost of Rs 1 crore on Friday.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that apart from railway zone, they would realise 18 other issues promised to AP at the time of bifurcation.
The MP said that the state was marching ahead in development under able leadership of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
He informed that the lifts in the railway station would be helpful to women, physically challenged and aged persons on two platforms.
There was an urgent need to develop the railway station which was near to capital Amaravati.
Stating that railway journey was the safest among other travels, the MP said that all facilities necessary for passengers were being provided at the railway station.
The MP appreciated railway officials for keeping the station in 37th position in implementation of Swachh Railway Station national ranks.
