Vijayawada: The leadership training programme, organised by the department of Economics of Maris Stella College in association with MR Pai Foundation, Mumbai concluded on the college premises on Saturday.
Dr Gowri Joshi explained to the students on the good habits to be practiced at an early age by the youngsters like honesty, punctuality, sharing, respecting others, identifying the usage of words like thank you and sorry.
Clarissa Jathanna explained about understanding team work, effective communication skills, achievable and non-achievable goals, Language Skills, Verbal and Non- verbal communication, Coming together – A beginning.
Students participated in the valedictory session expressed their views and said that they learnt a lot at the two-day training session by their practical sessions which were very useful to them.
In the valedictory session, Dr B Josephin Sandhya Rani, HoD Economics, Clarissa Jathana and Dr Gowri Joshi presented certificates to all the participants.
V Swapna, B Koteswara Rao, Kalima Abdul, B Sobha, Dr K Swaroop Kumar, students and others were present.
