Kakinada: The Kakinada Government General Hospital (KGGH) will observe World Psychiatry Day on Wednesday.

According to KGGH medical superintendent Dr M Raghavendra Rao, as part of this programme a rally will be organised jointly by Psychiatry department and Prajana Mind Clinic.

The rally will be flagged off by East Godavari Joint Collector A Mallikarjuna on the hospital premises.

Apart from Dr Raghavendra Rao, Ranga Raya Medical College principal Dr R Mahalakshmi, head of department of Psychiatry Dr Ramachandra Rao, specialist in the department Dr Varaprasad, 36th division municipal corporator S Lakshmi Prasanna and others will participate in the rally and awareness on mental health programmes.
