The Prakasam District Taekwondo Association announced that the members for the Under 14 Boys and Girls, Under 17 Boys and Girls teams were selected and trained to participate in the Statelevel CM Cup Tournament scheduled to be held at Visakhapatnam from November 9 to 11
Ongole: The Prakasam District Taekwondo Association announced that the members for the Under 14 Boys and Girls, Under 17 Boys and Girls teams were selected and trained to participate in the State-level CM Cup Tournament scheduled to be held at Visakhapatnam from November 9 to 11.
The association president Mantri Srinivasa Rao and secretary Cherukuri Venkata Ramana announced that T Nikhil, Ch Sivanagi Reddy, B Chaitanya, Sk Yaseen Baig, V Shanmukha Aditya, Y Anandarao, B Sriharsha, A Sai Teja, M Sai Rohith Reddy were selected for Under 14 Boys team while Y Venkata Hema, P Viswasri, S Meghana, T Jyotsna, U Lakshmi Gowtami, P Vidya Chandrika, K Syamali, K Amrutha Varshita were selected for the Under 14 Girls team.
They said that B Kotaiah, A Asirvadam, D Lakshminarayana Swamy, G Bhaskar, A Janardhan, D Prasanth Raju, G Sandeep, P Prasanth, Sk Mansoor, J Satya Venkatesh were selected for the Under 17 Boys team and G Navya, P Venkata Jhansi Lakshmi, D Pavitra, P Srilekha, M Suma, T Sirisha Rani, J Gayatri were selected for the Under 17 Girls team.
The president and secretary said that the district association conducted the selections with the cooperation of District School Games Association. They announced that Ankaraju would act as the coach for the state-level tournament. They wished the players to win gold medals in the matches and get qualified for the national tournament.
