Child Line-1098 aims to prevent child exploitation

Ongole: District Chile Line coordinator P Manthru Naik said that the main goal of Child Line-1098 is to bring awareness in people against violence against children, child exploitation and child rights.
He was speaking at “Mobile awareness camp” organized by Help-Girls Advocacy alliance as part of Child rights celebrations week.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that if anyone finds any instance of children being abused, exploited or violation of child rights, it should be brought to the notice of Child Line by calling to the number 1098.
The child rights awareness programs were held at various centers of Ongole town through pamphlet distribution and speeches.
The staff clarified several queries of people on child rights during the program.
Among those who participated in the program include Help program officer Ch Manemma, representatives of Chile Line M Murali Krishna, D Devakumari, K Rajani, G Koteshwar Rao, J Nagavardhan.
