Guntur: Municipal Corporation officials cleaned the roads to create awareness on Swachh Survekshan at RTC Bus Stand here on Tuesday.
Speaking on this occasion, Additional Commissioner K Ramachandra Reddy said that they were creating awareness on Swachh Survekshan and urged people to use toilets and not to pass urine on roads.
He stressed on need to keep surroundings clean. He urged the shop owners not to dump garbage generated in the shop on the roads. He stressed on need to segregate the garbage.
He urged passengers at RTC Bus Stand not to dump garbage on the roads and throw it in the dust bin and keep the roads clean.
GMC Deputy Commissioner D Srinivasa Rao, M Yesu Das, Public Health Officer Dr Sobha Rani were among those participated in the programme.
