3 held, ornaments worth Rs 18.5L seized

Kakinada: The police on Saturday cracked a theft case within 21 hours and nabbed three persons and seized gold and silverornaments worth of Rs 18.50 lakh from their possession. Disclosing the details to media at a press conference held here on Saturday, Superintendent of PoliceVishal Gunni said that 445gms of gold ornaments, 404 gms of silver ornaments and Rs 7.20 lakh cash was recovered from the accused. The accused have been identified as Behara Koppiraju,40, Behara Siva Krishna, 29 and Behara Bhaskar, 48 ofKakinada. On a tip-off, they were arrested at the house of Behara Siva Krishnain Mahalakshmi Nagar, the SP said.
