Kathak dance impresses audience

Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh State Creative and Culture Commission organised Swetha Venkatesh Kathak dance performance at Ghantasala Venkateswara Rao Government Music and Dance College on Saturday evening.
Swetha presented the item ‘Rag Tal Mal’ item in Kathak style and mesmerised the audience with her footwork. The recital followed by ‘Nirata Dhang’, ‘Geet Trivat’, ‘Matha Kali’, ‘Sankara Girijapate’ and other dance items.
These colourful dances were very much impressive and captivated the spectators. The artistes presented these items with full energy and dedication. Videsha, Srivara, Ashita R Kumar along with Swetha showcased the items and the expressions and fast foot movements were extremely well.
The information regarding the programme was not reached the art lovers because of lack of publicity as usual.
