Ramagiri (Anantapur): Women and Child Welfare Minister Paritala Sunitha has inspected the Paritala Ravindra Irrigation Channel from Jeedipalle reservoir to Perur and instructed contractors and engineers to speed up canal works and complete them by the end of December.
The Minister visited the canal works at Dubbarlapalle, Kothapalle, Shivapuram, Maddalacheruvu and Vepakunta villages in Kanaganapalle and Ramagiri mandals on Wednesday.
She thanked the farmers for extending excellent cooperation by sacrificing their lands for the canal project. Sunitha assured them of giving the best compensation possible. She expressed hope that Perur region would turn fertile and prosperous.
