‘Craft Bazaar 2018’ from tomorrow
The Amaravati Handicrafts and Handloom Articles Development Society AHHADS would organise Craft Bazaar 2018 from December 13 to 25 at PWD grounds here, said the society president G Janakiramaiah here on Tuesday
Vijayawada: The Amaravati Handicrafts and Handloom Articles Development Society (AHHADS) would organise ‘Craft Bazaar 2018’ from December 13 to 25 at PWD grounds here, said the society president G Janakiramaiah here on Tuesday.
Janakiramaiah said that District Collector B Lakshmikantham would inaugurate the craft bazaar. He said that about 200 shops would be set up and participants from across the country would come and exhibit their products in then bazaar.
The participants would perform live demonstration of handicrafts and artistic textiles at the expo, he said. Crockery, handloom, sarees from Mangalagiri, Machilipatnam, Kadapa, Chirala, Rajasthan, Haryana would be on display and sale.
Eateries, amusement and entertainment for the children like horse and camel ride would also be arranged.
He said that this expo would attract people on the Christmas holidays. All the arrangements were made for the participants for their stay and products on discount rates would be available.
The entry to the exhibition is free, said the society president. DBR decors head D Babu Rao was present on the occasion.
