The State Bank of India Pensioners Association SBIPA organised a twoday medical health check up camp which concluded on Sunday

Vijayawada: The State Bank of India Pensioners Association (SBIPA) organised a two-day medical health check up camp which concluded on Sunday.

As many as 1,100 people visited the health camp and underwent various checkups, said SBIPA vice-president KS Ramchandra Rao here on Sunday.

The health camp was organised at Siddhartha Pharmacy College, Pinnamaneni Poly Clinic Road, Vijayawada.

Ramchandra Rao said that SBIPA with the cooperation of Pinnamaneni Siddhartha Medical College has organised the health camp and about 20 doctors, 50 Nursing staff, and 40 Pharmacy students participated in the camp.

In all 1,100 people have been registered and have undergone the tests in Cardiology (300), Ophthalmology (200), Orthopaedic (200), Gynaecology (200), General Medicine (200).

Tests were conducted and free medicines were given to all visitors, which were donated by Popular Group of Companies Trust, Vijayawada.

I Rama Krishna Rao, DGS and VVN Prasad Babu, Regional Secretary and other members of the association were present.
