National Energy Conservation Week concludes

Ongole: The Prakasam district employees of the Andhra Pradesh Southern Power Distribution Company Limited observed the National Energy Conservation Week from From December 14 to 20 and concluded on Thursday with a rally and prize distribution program for the school children in various competitions.
On morning, the Ongole division APSPDCL employees organized an energy conservation awareness rally from their office in Ram Nagar to Church Center beside the collectorate. The DE T Srinivasa Rao, ADE PVV Prasad and around 150 employees participated in the rally.
As part of the energy conservation week, the APSPDCL also organized an essay writing and drawing competition for school children on Energy efficiency and energy conservation, as the topic, at the Government Girls High School in Bandlamitta and presented the awards at the division office in the evening.
In the essay writing competition, they selected G Lalitha from GGH School, M Susanna from Bhashyam High School, E Anupama from Narayana High School as winners in the English medium seniors category and selected B Sada from Sri Chaitanya School, N Aiswarya and S Saranya from Bhashyam High School as the winners in English medium juniors category.
In Telugu medium, they selected B Rajakumari from BSM ZP High School, Kothapatnam, A Akhila and selected N Tejaswini from GG High School in seniors category while T Jayasri, T Mercy Rani, and Sk Munny from GG High School in juniors category.
For drawing, they selected Y Ganesh Navadeep from Narayana High School, Sk Yasir from Sri Chaitanya High School and T Jhansi Rama Tulasi from Bhashyam Higs School as winners in seniors and selected R Indrani from Sri Chaitanya School, GVS Sirish from Narayana High School and Sk Danish Basha from Bhashyam High School as the winners in juniors category.
