SRKR student to lead AU cricket team in Bhimavaram
UAV Varma, student of SRKR Engineering College has been selected as the captain of Andhra University cricket team to play in the InterUniversity Cricket championship to be held in Karnataka
Bhimavaram: UAV Varma, student of SRKR Engineering College has been selected as the captain of Andhra University cricket team to play in the Inter-University Cricket championship to be held in Karnataka.
College Physical Director Dr P Satyanarayana Raju said that Varma has been selected in the Raghu Engineering College at Visakhapatnam.
He said that Varma has been heading the Andhra University team for the last three years in the Inter-University championship.
He said that he proved his mettle once again in the Vijji Trophy organised by BCCI last year.
“Apart from Varma, K Satya Prakash and G Chandramohan are also selected from the SRKR Engineering College,” he added.
College correspondent and Secretary Sagi Vithal Ranga Raju, physical director Dr Ch Hari Mohan and others congratulated the selected team members and wished them best of luck.
