Kadapa: Despite this time there was bright chances for TDP winning the election, group politics encouraged by party constituency in charges like kasturi viswanatha naidu, former MLC Batyala Chengal Rayudu leads adversely hit the victory of that party in Railway Sc constituency. Though there was no proper assurance from the party high command over finalizing their candidatures but hectic political activity taken by the aspirants who were proposed by constituency in charges ignite heat in the party cadres leads to formation of vertical line in the party.

If we came in to the subject Kasturi Viswanatha naidu who was in charge of railway Kodur constituency proposed name of P.Narasimha Prasad as a candidate in ensuing elections. The aspirant who is native of Nagavaram village in Chitwel mandal is son in law of Chittor TDP MP Siva Prasad and looking after his political affairs for several years by staying in Chittor.

Controversy started with the former Congress MLC Batyala Chengal Rayudu who migrated to TDP during the local body constituency elections, brought another person called V.Annapoorna daughter in law of former TDP Railway Kodur MLA B.Chennaiah in to the picture.

In this connection the duo rounding the constituency by declaring themselves as candidates in the elections adversely hitting the prosperity of the party at it will yields negative results in the elections a party senior leader said.

It may be recalled that TDP had lost the Railway Kodur assembly segment in 2014 elections just with the 1.43 percentage of votes difference as that party candidate Obili Subba Ramaiah was defeated in the hands of YSR Congress contestant Korumutla Srinivasulu with the margin of 1,972 votes. YSR candidate had secured 66,820 votes, while TDP contestant has got 64,848 votes.

However in the 2009 elections also TDP had lost the Railway Kodur margin of 12388 votes in a triangle fray between Congress,TDP, Congress as the Korumutla Srinivasulu won the election by securing 51,747 votes, while TDP contestant Ajaybabu Nandavaram Benjimin was defeated in the hands congress candidate by securing 39,359 votes. PRP candidate Samineni saraswathi who also lost the election by securing 22,122 votes.

A senior party leader detailed that there was no specific vote bank for YSR Congress in the constituency as Korumutla Srinivasulu who won from Railway Kodur assembly segment with congress vote bank after he migrated to YSR congress from congress in 2014 elections. He opined if TDP cautiously act in the selection of candidate there may be chances of that party to secure victory in ensuing elections.
