New Delhi: Former Union Minister and TDP MP Sujana Chowdary condemns the suspension of MPs from Lok Sabha. Speaking to the media he questioned why the MPs have been suspended now when they were continuing the protesting for AP special category status in the house from the earlier sessions.
Asking for the promised funds for AP is their right. The act which happened today to them will repeat to other MPs who raise questions against BJP government, Chowdary said.
Lok Sabha speaker Sumitra Mahajan suspended 14 TDP MPs for four days who were protesting at the speakers well with holding placards and raising slogans for AP special status. Along with TDP MPs, Nine AIMDMK MPs were also suspended from the Lok Sabha.
