Vijayawada: Indian Om Acupuncture Science College principal M Satyanarayana informed that certificates were given to about 18 candidates who had completed diploma in Acupuncture Science on Sunday.
Speaking on the occasion, Satyanarayana said that with Acupuncture Science, one can reduce the use of medicines and even surgeries can be prevented.
He said that acupuncture science is gaining attention and importance these days as most of the diseases can be cured with acupuncture techniques.
He said that there is an acute shortage of experts in the field and appealed interested candidates to join the course.
