Srikakulam: Elaborate arrangements being made for the successful conduct of Rathasaptami festival on February 12, said RDO MV Ramana. Reviewing the arrangements with officials concerned at Arasavalli Sun God Temple here on Thursday, he directed the police to make separate galleries for VIPs, Rs 500 ticket holders for Ksheerabhishekham, donor passholders who donated Rs 1 lakh, media and common people.

Srikakulam division law and order DSP, Vasupalli Bhima Rao said that police control room will work round the clock on the eve of festival. In total, 40 CC cameras will be arranged in and around the temple this year for effective monitoring of devotee rush and to clear traffic chaos during the festival, he stated.
