Podili: The Anti-Corruption Bureau officials raided the office, house and four other places of relatives and friends of a deputy executive engineer Pagadala Ravi Prakash, who is working at the project implementation unit of Panchayat Raj Department in Podili on Thursday.
ACB DSP at Ongole RVSN Murthy said that they received reliable information from sources that Ravi Prakash has disproportionate assets.
After gathering supporting information, they conducted simultaneous searches in the house of the engineer at Govind Nagar in Ongole, office at Podili, his sister's house at Markapuram, father-in-law's house at Giddalur, friend's house at Ongole and house of father-in-laws of his daughter at Podili.
He said that they have found assets worth Rs 1.25 crore, whose market value could be more than Rs 2.50 crore.
He said that they found documents of house, 14 housing plots and other savings in the searches and a case being registered against the officer.
