Tirupati: The Rotary Club of Tirupati has donated digital mammography equipment worth Rs 91 lakh to SVIMS on Tuesday. SVIMS Director Dr TS Ravikumar and office bearers of the Rotary Club have inaugurated the equipment installed at Radiology department.

Later, speaking at a meeting organised in the auditorium of SVIMS, the Director has revealed that cancer mortality was very high in India and among them 53 per cent were dying with breast cancer.
