Rajamahendravaram: Godavari Urban Development Authority (GUDA) chairman Ganni Krishna performed puja at Sri Uma Ramalingeswara Swamy Temple here on Thursday, praying the Lord for safe return of MIG 21 pilot Abhinandan, who is in Pakistan’s captivity in connection with the ongoing war on terror.
He said everyone in the country should pray the god for his safe arrival from Pakistan and it is the time for every citizen in the country to express their solidarity to our defence personnel who are ready to sacrifice their lives for the country.
Cutting across party lines, all leaders should also express their support to them which is the need of the hour, he said.
