Training for medical officers commenced

Kakinada: A three-day training programme for 48 out of the 96 newly recruited PHC medical officers started here on Tuesday. The training will continue till Thursday.

On Tuesday, the newly appointed doctors were provided with the information about their duties and on various health schemes, both state and Central.

Later, the medical officers were also provided with details of various medical schemes and programmes under public private participation.

Zonal medical officer Dr S Venkataratnam, additional DMHO Dr M Pavan Kumar, Dr Mallik, Dr Kesava Prasad and other senior medical offices participated in the meeting.

DMHO Dr T Ramesh Kishore addressed the new PHC medical officers.
