Changes to the front fascia come in the form of brushed slats for the grille, revised headlamps, and new bumper with fresh LED foglights and silver skid plate. Both variants continue with unchanged side profile while the rear facia gets tweaked taillights. Interiors too continue without much changes in terms of design.

New features include more infotainment options with up to date connectivity features and a host of electronic safety systems such as Lane Departure Warning, Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, adaptive lights with high beam assist and Smart Cruise Control. The crossover duo also benefit from new drive modes – Sport, Eco, Normal.

The powertrain lineup, which comprises 185 PS 2.4-litre naturally aspirated petrol, 245 PS 2.0-litre turbo petrol and 290 PS 3.3-litre V6 petrol engines, has been retained. All the motors are mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission which sends power either to front wheels or all the four wheels.

The India-spec Hyundai Santa Fe is expected to receive most of these updates in the coming months to stay fresh in a segment which is witnessing increasing competition.
