Engine options on offer are 2.0 liter 4-cyl, and 3.0 liter V6 in two tunes.

At the ongoing Geneva Motor Show 2016, Infiniti showcased the new Infiniti Q60 premium sports coupe.

Apart from the base 2.0 liter 4-cyl engine on offer, the Q60 also comes with a high performance 3.0 liter V6 twin turbo engine which belongs to the new and exclusive ‘VR’ powertrain family – a brainchild of Infiniti’s in-house six cylinder powertrain development.

This new engine comes in two variants: 300 HP or 400 HP; the latter offering one of the best power-to-efficiency ratios in the premium sports coupe class. The high-output version (400 HP) of the V6 delivers 475 Nm maximum torque at 1,600-5,200 rpm; while the 300 HP version produces 400 Nm torque at 1,600-5,200rpm.

The Q60 features a 19-inch aluminum alloy wheelbase by default with an option to upgrade it to 20-inch wheel in some of the markets, which will further enhance the performance of the car. The Q60 is fitted with new and innovative technologies that make it one of the most premium sports coupe.

Prime amongst them is the Direct Adaptive Steering, which offers a customized steering performance to the driver. The Direct Adaptive Steering transmits the driver’s input faster than a mechanical system without requiring many corrections and as a result offers a secure and less stressful drive to the driver. This technology is only available on the models equipped with the 3.0 liter engine.

There a host of other features which make the Q60 stand out including a 13-speaker Bose Performance Series sound system, Intelligent All-Wheel Drive (AWD) and many more.

The new Infiniti Q60 will hit the select markets in later part of 2016.
