Mahindra has launched its feature-rich flagship scooter, the Mahindra Gusto, in eight more states in India, at prices beginning from Rs. 48, 410 for its DX variant and Rs. 52,410 for its VX variant. The Mahindra Gusto is a 125 cc scooter with an M-TEC air-cooled single cylinder engine with MCDi technology, mated to a CVT automatic transmission. The power output of the engine is 8.5 bhp at 7000 rpm and a peak torque of 10 Nm at 5500 rpm. The ARAI-certified mileage is on the higher side at 63 kmpl.

This launch in 8 more states in India is part of Mahindra’s plans to expand at the global level, beginning with all of Asia and reaching up to Central America. The eight states that will avail the Mahindra Gusto scooter are Delhi, Punjab, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Goa, Chandigarh and Rajasthan.

The Mahindra Gusto is the only scooter in India to come with a height-adjustable seat. The remote flip-key with push button and LED panel and the Find-Me Lamps are some of the features that make life easier with the Gusto, as also the Guide Lamps, Halogen Headlamps and the LED Pilot Lamps. The easy front kick, quick storage and instrumental cluster storage are some of the functional features of the Gusto.

With its high ground clearance, the riding is further made comfortable with the front telescopic suspension with air springs and the wider wheelbase. The Mahindra Gusto is a safe, comfortable and feature-enhanced scooter to ride on, all of which make the Gusto the clear flagship scooter of Mahindra. This current expansion of its sales to these 8 states and the exports to international markets are also expected to be well-received with the Gusto.
