Provide necessary facilities in petrol bunks: Jagtial Collector

​Jagtial: District Collector Dr A Sharat ordered the owners of petrol bunks in the town to provide all facilities required for the customers for their convenience.

He chaired a meeting with the owners of petrol bunks, at the conference hall of Rural Development Office in Jagtial on Thursday.

Speaking at the meeting, the Collector ordered the owners of about 42 petrol bunks present in the district to provide necessary facilities that were mentioned while taking license to open a petrol bunk.
The Collector warned them to maintain quality of the petrol and quantity also.

There should be separate toilets for men and women and dustbins to keep the surroundings clean along with displaying sign boards to show the distance of the nearest petrol bunk.

Encourage cashless transactions along with displaying boards mentioning about the type cards their petrol bunks would accept, the Collector ordered.

He also said that a complaint box will be set up in every petrol bunk, which will be supervised by one of the district officials regularly.

All the facilities must be arranged within 15 days without fail, Sharat ordered. The petrol bunks that fail to provide these facilities will be seized, he warned.
