Finisar Corporation, a global technology leader for fiber optic subsystems and components, has announced expansion of its operations in the city.
Hyderabad: Finisar Corporation, a global technology leader for fiber optic subsystems and components, has announced expansion of its operations in the city.
Under this, the Nasdaq-listed company is gearing up to double its headcount in the city over next 12 months. In addition, it is also adding Product Test platform development line to its existing operations here.
On October 28, Jerry Rawls, Chairman and CEO, Joseph Young, EVP - Global Operations, and Giri Chodavarapu, VP- Global IT, Finisar, announced the formal inauguration of their new facility that will facilitate their expansion plans in Hyderabad, the company said.
Founded in 1988, Finisar achieved with $1.2 billion in revenue in FY15. It has operations in USA, China, Australia, Malaysia, Singapore and India. The company employs about 13,000 people worldwide.
