IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company Limited (IL&FS Engineering Services) has received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) regarding construction of metro rail project in Gujarat from Metro-Link Express for Gandhinagar & Ahmedabad (MEGA) Company Limited for Rs. 374.64 Crores. MEGA is a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) incorporated by the Government of Gujarat to implement Metro Rail Project under the Companies Act, 1956.

IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company Limited (IL&FS Engineering Services) has received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) regarding construction of metro rail project in Gujarat from Metro-Link Express for Gandhinagar & Ahmedabad (MEGA) Company Limited for Rs. 374.64 Crores. MEGA is a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) incorporated by the Government of Gujarat to implement Metro Rail Project under the Companies Act, 1956.


The project involves construction of Viaduct Corridor from Interface Point with Gyaspur Depot, Abutment of Depot to APMC Metro Rail Station to Shreyas Metro Rail Station all inclusive of Elevated Viaduct portion from chainage (-)1374.50 to (+)3246.50 mts, and Elevated Metro Stations (4 numbers) viz. APMC, Jivraj, Rajivnagar, and Shreyas for Package-1 of North-South Corridor for Ahmedabad Metro Rail Project Phase-1. The Project is to be completed in 120 weeks from the date of issue of Letter of Acceptance (LOA).
IL&FS Engineering Services is currently executing 3 metro rail projects worth more than Rs. 700 Crores in Bengaluru for Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited, in Gurgaon for Rapid Metro Rail Project, Phase-II (RMRG), and in Kolkata for Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL).
Earlier, IL&FS Engineering Services successfully executed RMRG (Phase I) that involved construction of Elevated Viaduct including six station buildings.
