Hyderabad: Sonalika International Tractors Ltd, the third largest tractor manufacturer in India, is looking to garner 15 per cent market share across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana by financial year 2016-17.

The company, which sold more than 50,000 tractors in the southern market, looks to be among the top 3 brands in the key region by launching new products and increasing network of dealerships.

“In past few years, we have received encouraging response for our products from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana customers. With new product introduction, we are planning to double the sales volumes and gain 15 per cent market share in the two states,” D L Rana, Director, Sales and Marketing, Sonalika International Tractors Ltd, told media here.

Also, the company will soon launch four new tractors in the two states. They include Sonalika GT26, GT30, DI750 and Rx750 models which will cater to different agricultural and other needs.

Recently, it launched two new tractor models, Rx47-4wheel drive and DI35, in the two states, taking the product range to five. The Rx47-4 is more versatile and multi-purpose tractor suitable for wet and dry land application.

It features better ground clearance and high backup torque. And the DI35 model is suitable for both farm and commercial usage. “With our customer centric approach, we focus on empowering our farmers by providing solutions and products that will enhance their agricultural productivity.

Each of our products is ergonomically designed to give best performance in most strenuous conditions,” he added. On network side, the company has 24 dealers in AP and 21 in Telangana, taking total to 45 outlets. It plans increase the network to 60 dealers by end of next financial year.
