Despite 'Balupu' giving a stiff competition to 'Premakatha Chitram', producer Sudharshan Reddy is on cloud nine over his film still managing to run with packed houses. "'Balupu' did eat into our business last Friday but since Saturday the collections have been rock steady and multiplexes have added more shows. Families are thronging to the halls in the weekdays.

It has completed 25 days on Monday," says a beaming Sudharshan who is associated with the industry for the past 18 years. "Besides distributing successful films like 'Premisthe', 'Chandramukhi', 'Devadas' and 'Bindass' among other films in Visakapatnam, I was also a co-producer for films like 'Kodipunju', Kalavar King' and 'Pilla Zamindar'."

He goes a long way with director Maruthi who supervised his first production. "We've distributed 'Premisthe' together. I liked his 'Ee Rojullo' logo before meeting him and putting a film proposal. Even before 'Ee Rojullo' went on to become a sleeper hit, we thought of making 'Premakatha Chitram'. I attribute the film's success to him. I can never say no to him and vice-versa," he gushes.

The producer is now planning to make a sequel to 'Premakatha Chitram' with the same team including the cast. "We've titled it as 'Pellikatha Chitram'. It's still in nascent stages," he reveals and adds, "Once Maruthi gets some space, we will announce more details."
