The release of Ram Gopal Varma's 'Satya 2', which was scheduled for this Friday, has been postponed to November 8. It was reported that certain issues cropped up between RGV and one of the producers of the film, Arun Sharma, which prompted the filmmaker to delay the release.
Arun Sharma has been allegedly involved in a major scam, and RGV has reportedly been advised to part ways with him.
"After disassociating with all L.R. Active Arun Sharma related issues, 'Satya 2' will now release Nov 8, instead of October 25th," Varma posted on Twitter Tuesday.
Ram Gopal Varma said, "Arun Sharma is the owner of LR Active OIL. They are one of the partners in 'Satya 2'. We were told not to associate with him."
He further said, "I cannot divulge any more details. But we are postponing the release from October 25 to November 8."
'Satya 2' is the sequel to the 1998 hit film 'Satya'. RGV seemingly explores a new underworld in the sequel, and has denied any connection to the prequel.
Recently, Amitabh Bachchan also came forward to promote 'Satya 2, and praised RGV for making the movie.
The movie stars newcomers Puneet Singh, Anaika Soti and Aradhana Gupta.
