I’d Love to take My Children to Pakistan: SRK, India and Pakistan Become "friendlier. Meanwhile, AbRam, Shah Rukh Khan's third child, who was born through surrogacy and prematurely by several months, is now healthy, says the superstar. In fact, he has dimples like his father too!

Having fond memories of visiting Peshawar as a teenager with his father, Shah Rukh Khan harbours a hope to take his three children to visit his family's hometown, and hopes ties between India and Pakistan become "friendlier" and "family-like".

The superstar spoke fondly of Peshawar when Pakistan's former foreign minister Hina Rabbani Khar asked him about visiting her country, at a seminar in New Delhi.
"I'd love to! My family is from Peshawar and few of them still live there. I would love to come to Peshawar and bring my children over because my father took me when I was 15 or 16. I still have some of the greatest memories of the time I spent with my father in Peshawar, Karachi and Lahore. I want to take my kids there," said Shah Rukh.
The 47-year-old was born in Delhi, but his late father, Taj Mohammad Khan, came from Peshawar. He was a freedom fighter.
Shah Rukh, who is married to Gauri, has three children - Aryan, Suhana and AbRam. AbRam is their baby through surrogacy.
Shah Rukh hopes that the two countries forget their differences and join forces to have "the greatest of things possible for each other".
"I hope with whatever issues and stresses we have, we become friends, we become friendlier, we become like a family and one together," he said, adding how he learnt the true essence 'mehmaan-nawaazi' during his last visit to Pakistan.
The actor believes the people of both nations harbour no ill-will for each other.
"When I travel abroad, I notice it even more, because sitting in your nation you can't make out. But when I go to London, Dubai or US, you don't even get to know who is from where - there's no cultural difference. I think people should forget (the past) and continue to be what we used to be," he added.
Meanwhile, AbRam, Shah Rukh Khan's third child, who was born through surrogacy and prematurely by several months, is now healthy, says the superstar. In fact, he has dimples like his father too!
AbRam is very handsome mashallah healthy now. He spreads a lot of happiness. He has dimples also, so yes, it is nice to have people who have dimples," said Shah Rukh, whose dimples add charm to his million dollar smile.
A doting father, Shah Rukh also has a son named Aryan and a daughter named Suhana. Both are teenagers.
What drove Shah Rukh and Gaurian decision to have a child after so many years?
"My elder son is 16, and my daughter is 13. But since the past four to five years, they started moving out more, went to school. Earlier they used to stick to us like monkeys like children are used to doing, and I spent a lot of time with them. We are like a nuclear family and we like it like that.
"But in the past few years the environment was such that the children used to be in their rooms with their friends. We didn't even sometimes reraise if they were at home or not. So we started missing the fact that we could spend time with the children. Now my son has gone to London to study annihilable, my daughter would also like to go.
"We are free-thinking parents and let them do what they want. But we started missing the presence of children," he admitted candidly.
SRK said, the baby keeps Gauri busy and brings a lot of happiness in their lives.
