Jai Ho: Can Salman surpass Chiranjeevi?

Bollywood's most eligible bachelor who's very much single and looking for true love is doing extremely well career wise. He's one actor who did South remakes and yet managed to crash the box office records.

Remember how Prabhu Dheva's recent Telugu remakes in Hindi bombed at the box office. Now, back to Sallu. The actor is now busy promoting his upcoming film Jai Ho, which again is a remake of a Telugu flick titled Stalin that starred mega star Chiranjeevi in the lead role.

It's a known fact that Chiranjeevi was at the peak of his career when he did this movie. And the movie was directed by AR Murugadss with Trisha in the female lead role. Yet the movie was declared an average movie.

Now, Salman Khan is reprising the role of Chiru in the Hindi remake directed by his brother Sohail Khan. Although the first look poster designed by the actor's Twitter fans has got a thumbs up, it remains to be seen how the movie will fare at the box office considering the fact that there were many low points in the original film.

Jai Ho also stars Daisy Shah and Tabu and expected to hit theatres on January 24. The movie promotions are on in full swing. Good luck Sallu.
