Anjali Devi, married Music director Aadi Narayana Rao in 1940. She was 86 and is survived by two sons.

Anjali Devi made a remarkable entry as a heroine to the industry way back in 1940 for the film Kashtajeevi by L. V. Prasad In 1940, Anjali Devi acted in about 500 films in her career. She has acted with almost all top actors in a leading role.

Many of her films are masterpieces like Suvarnasundari kadha, Keelu Gurram, Lava Kusa, Sri Krishna Tula Bharam, Anarkali, Chanchu Lakshmi and many more.
