Priyanka item song in Ram Leela was Aishwarya's?

Here's good news for all the fans of Miss world Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Yes, she's an actress too. The girl who debuted in Mani Ratnam's Iruvar went on to work with some of the best directors in tinsel town including Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

We know that the actress took a break from her career to take care of her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan. However, Ash continued to sign brand endorsement deals.

Rumour had it that she was even approached to do the item number in Ram Leela for which the actress had given a conditional nod. Grapevine had it that Ash wanted a few lines in the song reworked which Sanjay politely declined. Then the offer went to Priyanka Chopra who rocked in the song.

Now, we hear Aishwarya is all set to make a comeback in a Mani Ratnam movie. Kollywood is buzzing with strong rumours that Ash will be seen in Mani's next.
